Pick him up right away as he will have very nice value until Borowski comes back. If Cleveland is smart, they will leave Betancourt in the role. I personally think they do just that.
I don't agree. He's 33 or 34 now and wasn't that successful his last year in Japan. If he pitches like last year, which is a definite possibility considering he's getting old, he won't be very successful in the MLB. Still, he might be worth putting there for a month or so until major leaguers get used to his stuff. I think Betancourt is the better option for season-long success though.
